Tulip Town

Mount Vernon's Tulip Town has announced that it is staying open through Mother’s Day on May 14. That day will also mark the final day of the 2023 season.

“We said as long as we have color in the fields, then we’re open to visitors, so this is exciting news indeed,” said Kristen Keltz, CEO of Spinach Bus Ventures, which owns and operates Tulip Town, in a release. “Our rationale was ‘color dependent’ instead of ‘weather dependent,’ and Mother Nature (finally) showed up in her full glory, so we’re remaining open."

Tulip Town tickets and admission levels for Bloom '23 can be found here. Ticket includes parking, entry, (a weather dependent) trolley ride, 2023 bloom field access, tulip gardens, an indoor tulip display, and a barn experience.

Visitors also can enjoy the following:

  • Tulip Town's Veteran's Memorial Garden, which has been relocated on the farm and boasts new fountains and flags representing all military branches;
  • Old-school trolley rides through the tulips (weather-dependent);
  • Tulip Town's retail boutique featuring artisan wares, goods, and gifts from Skagit Acres;
  • A flower stand and nursery for plants, pottery, and more;
  • Local ice cream, coffee, and treats from Skagit Landing at Tulip Town;
  • A beer and wine garden; and
  • Bulbs for purchase via QR code.
