The Blend has joined the popular downtown Kirkland waterfront community of eateries, cocktail bars, and boutiques. The tasting room officially opened at a recent ribbon-cutting event, during which Ste. Michelle Wine Estates’ team and Kirkland community leaders celebrated the new lounge. The Blend is located at 15 Lake Street, Suite 200, and offers a spacious interior alongside patio seating overlooking the busy downtown area.

In addition to its Chateau Ste. Michelle wines, The Blend gives guests the opportunity to sample a wide selection of celebrated Washington vintners. Featured wineries include Eroica, Tenet, Spring Valley Vineyard, Northstar Winery, Borne of Fire, and reserve tier wines from Columbia Crest and 14 Hands. Rotating tasting flights and a menu of small bites are available for those wishing to sit for a spell, as well as pre-chilled bottles of white, rosé, and sparkling wines for those preferring to enjoy a day out on the lake or in their own patio summer oasis.

Also making its debut at The Blend is the new Blend 42 wine club, a membership designed for wine lovers who want a little bit of everything. Blend 42 members get delivered four bottles of wine every month, either pre-selected or customized choices from the various Ste. Michelle partner wineries. They also get discounts on flights, merchandise, and special events at The Blend, with no enrollment fees. Members can cancel at any point. The membership is ideal for anyone new to wine clubs, though it’s also fit for those who already have club memberships with any of Blend 42’s partner wineries, since you have the option to link your memberships.

The Blend is open Thursdays through Sundays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Currently, The Blend is requesting that guests make reservations prior to their visit. Go to its website to reserve a tasting.
