United Way of Snohomish County is hosting its first in-person fundraiser since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
The “United More than Ever” fundraiser and sit-down luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on June 8 at Hotel indigo at the Everett Waterfront.
“This event gives us a chance to not only reconnect with our community in person again, but the support helps us to continue to fund important initiatives,” said Craig Chambers, president and chief executive officer of UWSC, in a release. “We look forward to bringing more visibility to the needs within Snohomish County, and the ways that United Way, alongside our collaborative partners, are tackling them.”
The event will raise funds for existing community partnerships, centering around removing barriers keeping Snohomish County families in poverty. It will also focus on the expansion of existing programs and initiatives within the community, the release said.
Tickets for the event are available here for $25 per person and $225 for a table, which includes 10 seats. Community members and businesses are invited to attend the event. Sponsorship opportunities are available by contacting development director Elizabeth Gromko at elizabeth.gromko@uwsc.org.
