The Lookout at Lake Chelan is currently constructing a commercial district in the town next to the new Lake Chelan Community Center, according to a news release from The Lookout.
The Lookout Commercial District will feature roughly a dozen commercial buildings ranging from 1,500 to 5,000 square feet and be modern in design.
The district also will featuring an expansive lawn area for various outdoor events.
Plans include the building of custom shells, with lease rates contingent on construction costs. The new district, the release said, will be within walking distance to The Lookout residential community, which hosts up to 2,000 people per day in peak season.
An informational session will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. April 27 at The Lookout.
