Amazon Future Engineer Program Awards Scholarship to Eight Puget Sound Students

Eight Puget Sound students were awarded Amazon Future Engineer scholarships at an event held at the AWS Skills Center in Seattle earlier this week. Seattle University Announces Redhawk Transfer Admissions Guarantee

Seattle University has announced the Redhawk Transfer Admissions Guarantee, which ensures that students applying from one of 41 Washington community colleges who meet its requirements will be automatically accepted. Admitted students will also be automatically considered for merit-based scholarships and any merit-based scholarship amount earned will be guaranteed for three years, creating assurance regarding the cost of a Seattle University education. Bellevue Lifeguards Needed for Summer Season

The City of Bellevue is looking to fill 60 new and returning lifeguard positions for the upcoming summer season. Rates for lifeguards begin at $17.25 an hour and increase based on experience and years in the position. The City of Bellevue is offering a $75 hiring bonus for all new and rehired lifeguards and the opportunity for an additional $175 based on the number of hours worked. Find out more here.
