The Seattle International Film Festival announced a sampling of films to be showcased in the 48th annual festival lineup on April 14-24. The full program and more than 250 films will be announced March 30.
“These films are funny, and moving, intriguing and inspiring – and they are as diverse as our local and global communities,” said SIFF artistic director Beth Barrett in a release. “They represent some of the best of the full menu of films that will be featured next month and we’re thrilled to share them with the Seattle community.”
The 48th annual festival will be a hybrid experience with more than 250 films from 80 countries/regions screened at SIFF theaters and venues throughout Seattle. More than 100 feature films and shorts packages will also be available for at-home streaming via the SIFF channel.
Highlights include The Duke, Inu-Oh, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, One Second, Riotsville USA, Fire of Love, The Good Boss, Hit the Road, Nothing Compares, The Pez Outlaw, and more.
