Dragons are Hatching in Renton!

This weekend marks Erasmus the Dragon’s Hatch Day Celebration in Renton. Guests are invited to join the festivities by taking part in a scavenger hunt on Saturday, April 17, to locate 45 dragons hidden all over historic downtown and win prizes. Erasmus — a 710-pound aluminum dragon perched on top of the building at 826 S. 3rd Street — is one of the many cool outdoor art displays you’ll find. More here.

Private Golf Course Opens to Public

The Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club in Blaine has completed $3.8 million in capital improvements and is offering limited-time public play options at the Arnold Palmer-designed golf course. For a limited time, the public can play for $80 a day through April and $125 in May. Passes include a green fee and range access. Or sample the country club lifestyle for a month for $350 with unlimited golf.

Sparkling Ice is Looking for Heroes

Preston-based Sparkling Ice beverage company is hosting its second annual Cheers to Heroes campaign. Nominations are being accepted through May 31 for heroes across the nation. The grand prize winner will receive $10,000. Three-time Olympic Gold medalist gymnast Gabby Douglas is the spokeswoman for the campaign.

Brunch with The Beatles: Revolver

The Kirkland Performance Center is partnering with Hearth at The Heathman Hotel Kirkland to create a unique live and virtual event on Sunday, April 25. Brunch With The Beatles: Revolver will feature Good Day Sunshine, a popular Seattle-area cover band. It’s set for 12:30-2:30 p.m. In-person tickets are $40; at-home/to-go tickets are $35.
