“Fur, Feathers & Fins” Kirkland Art Show

If you love art and supporting the well-being of animals everywhere, then you will not want to miss the “Fur, Feathers & Fins” animal-themed juried art show.  The show will be held in downtown Kirkland at the Parklane Gallery, beginning in early October.

The best part of attending the show is knowing that 10% of anything you spend on a piece of art will be donated to a local animal rescue group.  You get to pick out a fantastic piece of art to purchase and then you get to choose which rescue organization you want to receive your donation.

The juror for the art show will be famed wildlife artist, Julie T. Chapman, and an artists’ reception will be held on October 10th from 6 to 8 p.m.  The entire show will span from October 6th to October 31st.  Hours will be from Tuesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Admission is free.   Some of the rescue organizations benefiting from the art show include Old Dog Haven, Purrfect Pals, Wolf Hollow, Noah Animal Adoption, and many more.

Parklane Gallery is located at 130 Park Lane in Kirkland.  More information can be found at their website or by calling 425.827.1462

This is your chance to buy a great piece of art and clear your conscience by supporting local animal rescue organizations.  What are you waiting for?
