Every girl needs a girls’ night out. And if you happen to be like me — then you need a movie night, too! I almost never get out to the movies anymore, but when Gold Class Cinemas opened last year in Redmond, that all changed. They make going to the movies a perfect date night or girls’ night out because the food is delicious, the seats are really comfortable, and you can have a cocktail delivered to you while you watch the movie. I can’t imagine a better night out.

It’s so simple
Private parties are really easy at Gold Class Cinemas. Since they already have a bar and food service, you really only need to bring yourself. But if you’re feeling a bit over the top (I often do!), they can accommodate and help with your extra touches. Since we were seeing a super chick flick, I decided to create a super chick setting, transforming the lounge into a shopper’s paradise. I covered the space with pink fabric, shopping bags and bright pink flowers. Clear acrylic trays are easy to adapt to any theme and are perfect for piling up finger foods. To make mine match the pink theme, I had a piece of Plexi-glass cut to fit inside each tray, which allowed me to fill the inside of the tray with boas and the perfect colored candies. These can be reused for almost any occasion just by changing out the filler.

Girly Goody Bags
Girls’ night out doesn’t actually require favors, but isn’t that so much more fun? I filled pink shopping bags with essentials for every great shopper. Each girl received a reusable Nordstrom tote, a Diptyque Rose candle (perfect for relaxing after a stressful shopping day) and a bottle of water and chocolates (for refueling).

Finger Food
All of the food at the theater is mini-sized and perfect for eating in the dark. The burgers are a two-bite slider size. The vertical Caesar salad is served in a cup full of dressing to dip and munch. A simple silverware and mess-free salad.

A Sweet Touch
Shopping bags filled with tissue paper and a few stems of pink roses were the perfect centerpiece. Use your favorite shopping bags from the Bellevue Collection like I did, or from your own shopping adventures in New York, L.A. or beyond.
