Are you looking for love on the Eastside and not having any luck? Are you in a relationship and not connecting to the fullest potential with happiness, communication and intimacy? Would you like to become more aware of your dating and relationship mistakes? Here are some dating and relationship tips to know:

Tip 1 — Love and Happiness Start With You
If you are looking to create love or currently are in a relationship, the first law of love is to love oneself. This creates opportunity to reach out and create life-changing events and relationships with new people. Every day take 5 to 30 minutes to do one to three things that make you happy such as running, serving others, or even spending time alone reading or writing. Focus on living your best life and putting a smile on your face first!

Tip 2 — Surround Yourself with Positive People
How can you be happy if your friends, co-workers and family are always complaining about the weather, news, or life in general? How can you go out and search for new friends or your new love when you are constantly hearing that there’s no one out there for you? Don’t compromise your happiness by settling for unhappy relationships. Start being positive and look at the best of every situation. When faced with challenges, look toward better solutions rather than complaining or staying quiet.

Tip 3 — Four Keys to Flirting and Communicating
Smile: It is contagious. It will make you so much more approachable. A smile lights up your face and draws people to you. You will be a people magnet. Try it today, smile at the gas station, grocery store, or at work and look at the immediate response you receive! It is energizing and connecting. Compliment: Compliment your love or the one you desire. The best compliments have the element of surprise. Remember, your compliments must be honest, sincere and genuine. Eye Contact: Make eye contact, but please look your partner in the eye gently (no more than 2 to 4 seconds) and then glance away. Do not stare, it’s a turn off. People want to know that they have your attention and you care. Listen: You have two ears and one mouth because you should listen twice as much as you speak. Listening is a true art. Everyone loves to be heard.
